KABOUNKOUT MATERNITY -X-
We want to explain step by step the evolution of the construction project and Endowment for Kabounkout Maternity. We encourage you to follow this blog. As we said in the previous capitol
An essential aspect of the maternity project is the treatment of wastewater. With the antecedent of the installation of latrines and the corresponding septic tank in the School and in the existing Health Center attached to motherhood, projects funded by the Kassumay Foundation, we have confirmed the great impact that supposes in the improvement of the health in the outer area near the facilities.
In a social context where the habit of using toilets has not been implemented, since they simply do not exist as such as not having a water supply, the implementation of toilet is an element that involves improvements in the environment and public hygiene.
Hence the enormous importance of the construction of the septic tank for the sanitation of waste derived from the functioning of motherhood. Waste treatment is performed by separation in three compartments with waste discrimination by decanting, with final filtration with absorbent stone and coal.
The projected separation system allows the management of solid waste and the filtering of less polluting liquids before the final spill. Therefore the environmental impact will be virtually zero.
The projects to which we support have intrinsically incorporated this aspect of care of the environment, which contributes to the sustainability of them.
