WE WORK IN SCHOOLS
Today we want to share with you all this entry, which we should have commented on in the first quarter of 2020 and that for various reasons has not been possible until now.
We work in schools. From the KASSUMAY FOUNDATION, we carry out awareness-raising and participation activities in the schools of our municipality.
CEIP Molí Nou, Sant Boi de Llobregat
Due to the current situation of health exceptionalism (COVID19) this type of activity has had to be discontinued. We share the last experience that was possible in February at the Escola CEIP Molí Nou.
Workshop: Pap's world
In February 2020 we were present at ceip Molí Nou in order to bring fifth-graders some characteristics of the life of Pap, a boy like many others who live in the rural world of the Lower Casamance region of Senegal.
A child who has a family with parents who develop a job, who according to the moment is fishing or cultivating the land, a child who has, brothers, who likes to play, a child who goes to school and helps in some tasks in the family group.
This group of fifth graders listened carefully to the presentation of our exhibition, participating very actively, showing interest and raising questions related to the topic discussed.
A respectful group of students, willing to listen and let themselves be questioned. We want to emphasize this aspect, since they were the protagonists with their desire to know.
Thank you for letting us share Pap's joy with you all.
